This song has many time signature changes, starting off in 4/4, but also going into a 5/4 groove as well as a section of 9/4. Just because. It flows extremely smoothly, and you may not even notice the unorthodox time signatures when they happen. I wrote this many years ago and recorded a version of it before I had access to higher end synths. Originally I used ACID loops for the orchestration, which was quite the feat as the loops didn't support 5/4 or 9/4, so I had to do a lot of chopping, resulting in the song sounding rather choppy. I think this version fixed that issue has a really cool orchestral rock sound. (The guitars really drive this home towards the end).
